What to Expect at Your Piedmont Interview
Piedmont\'s interview process mirrors the broader American Eagle structure, featuring a combination of HR and behavioral questions, technical knowledge checks on ERJ-145 systems and Part 121 regulations, and CRM scenario discussions that evaluate how you perform under pressure and in unfamiliar crew pairings. Candidates should be prepared to walk through their career timeline in detail and demonstrate both self-awareness and sound aeronautical decision-making. Company-specific questions about Piedmont\'s culture, bases, and operation are common and often trip up underprepared applicants.

Interview Experience
“Got the phone screening with basic questions then the formal interview invite came by email. Had less than a week to prep which meant cramming hard on tech material and behavioral stuff. Interview day starts with a 25-question written test from the ATP bank, you have to pass it or you're done right there. After the written you brief a Jepp approach chart and do the behavioral portion, TMAAT about past experiences including any checkride busts. The recruiters kept it conversational but they're definitely evaluating you the whole time. Got the CJO and they had me do some at-home tests before scheduling CTP and training.”
