“The XOJET Aviation (XOAV/Vista America) hiring process as of mid-2021 was conducted entirely via video teleconference, though the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport offices were reopening. The process consisted of three sequential interview stages, each conducted remotely. Applications were screened based on overall flying experience including total hours and type of operations (Part 91, 135, or 121), with minimums of 1500 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, and 150 instrument hours. There was no formula favoring one type of flying background over another.”
