Allegiant\'s interview process features a structured panel format combining behavioral and technical questions evaluated by hiring team members and line pilots. Expect questions that probe your aeronautical knowledge on Airbus and 737 MAX systems, your CRM decision-making in realistic scenarios, and behavioral questions designed to assess cultural fit with Allegiant\'s ULCC operation. Tips

  • Video interview: 1-2 minutes prep time, 2 minutes to answer, 1 week to complete
  • In-person: conversational resume review rather than formal Q&A
  • Prepare flight hour documentation thoroughly
  • Know company bases, CEO, and core values
  • Interviewers are adamant about discussing non-commutability for junior pilots
  • Group presentation covers company overview and future growth plans
  • Straightforward non-tricky questioning

Interview Experience

Allegiant is two stages now. First is a one-way video deal where you record answers to about 7 questions into a computer. They ask about yourself, why Allegiant, their core values, any failures or violations. If you pass that, they fly you out to the LAS training center for a group session and a one-on-one with a CA and FO. In-person part is super conversational. They go through your resume, verify hours, and throw some scenarios at you. One thing they made clear: the job is not commutable when you're junior.
